What do you do i.e. school/training/ work
I go to Wanganui High School and work part time. I'm also doing a part time early childcare course and doing work experience at a day care.

What do you do for fun?
Hang out with friends, listen to music.

How long have you been on the Youth Committee?
This is my second year on the Youth Committee.

Favourite episode of Spongebob and why?
I do not like Sponge Bob! Because its lame and I don't enjoy watching it.

Favourite TV Show?
I do not have a favourite TV Program because I do not watch much TV as i find it a waste of time.

What do you want to see in Wanganui for the young people?
I want to see hope and security for young people in Wanganui. For children to be able to walk around and feel safe in their community and to enjoy themselves. There should be activities for young people to do, instead of watching TV all the time.

What are your goals for the future?
I want to work for the youth and help them. I would like to be a youth worker, early childcare teacher or a day care worker. I wanna go to Europe.

Why did you join the Youth Committee?
I joined the Youth Committee because I’m interested in working with youth.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
An early childcare teacher, Youth worker or day care worker. I just wanna work with the youth.

Descibe your family and what they mean to you.
I have 3 sisters, 1 brother and a brother in law, mum and dad. My family means everything to me and I couldn’t live without them. They have helped me so much throughout my life. I'm the youngest so they all look after me.

What do you want to achieve out of life?
A lot. I wanna work with the youth.

Favourite Food?
Ice Cream, if that’s classed as a food.

Favourite Music?
Metal, old school. Hmm let’s name some...
Metallica, AC-DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Split Endz, Britney Spears, lol…jokes, you should understand what I mean.

What's your 'style'?
Casual. Band tops or T-Shirts, jeans. Like I said - causal.

Favourite shop in Wanganui?
What shops, hah! There are hardly any so it's hard to say.

Favourite place to be?
Ruatiti, like it’s a quiet place and is in the middle of nowhere. I love quiet places, with my family, friends and boyfriend!

Wanganui is a great place because there are so many great people. Its not a bad place like the news may report. It's so little that’s why I like it so much. Go Wanganui Youth!
