I am in my first year at Wanganui High School and am enjoying it immensely. After schools I do competitive gymnastics and learn the violin.
2009 is my second year on the Youth Committee
I am a person who likes to make his opinions heard and since I have a lot of opinions the Youth Committee suits me well. Wanganui is very special to me and I want to help make it even better.
Wanganui is already greatly youth oriented, but I’d like to see a friendlier, safer environment.
At the moment I’m not entirely sure, I love English and want to have a career in that type of area; journalism is an option I’ve thought about. But I also love graphics design, maybe architecture. I haven’t decided yet.
Long term, I hope to go to University (I’m not sure what yet; perhaps journalism, architecture, design or law), have a novel published and generally be happy.
I want to be able to look back on my life and feel it has been worthwhile, through ideas or actions I’ve put into movement; or just living life fully.
I am very lucky to have a very loving and supportive family, who show interest in everything I do. I have a younger brother of eleven and an older of fifteen. We are very close and my worst fear is ever growing apart from them.
Banoffee pie! I’m completely mad about the sweet dessert.
Quite a range- from classical to Hayley Westenra to bands like Flight of the Conchords
My style is out-going, out-spoken, often first to break the ice.
Kebabaholik - we always go there to celebrate achievements – Hallensteins for clothes, cafes like Parnells and Indigo.
Virginia lake, Wangaehu beach, home with my family
I am a very avid creative writer, so I write a lot of stories and the occasional poem. In my free time I create texture art for games and talk on Internet forums. My friends are also very important to me and I spend a lot of time texting and ‘hanging out’ with them.
Unfortunately I have a limited opinion since I don’t watch the show.
Watch little TV although I like to catch up on shows like Rove online.
I love Wanganui: to me it is the perfect place to grow up – not too big, not too small. Great facilities with great people. As a youth councillor, I want to help make it better and better.
